Loneliness - A Poem

Loneliness - A Poem

Photo from unsplash by Vladimir Tsokalo

Sitting near the river
Thinking about life
Birds are flying
Screaming that
They are independent
And have friends and family
My cheeks are soaking
By water... Nah tears
While my eyes only focus
On the birds

One thing left my lips
A painful laugh
Only by remembering my loneliness
Don't you have family?
Yes, I have
Don't you have friends?
Yes, I do
Then?
Still I'm feeling lonely
